The optical industry's "can't miss" educational forum
2008 marks the 12th Anniversary of this annual event, which has become widely recognized as a leading educational forum for Transitions Optical's laboratory and industry partners in North and South America.
This year’s Academy spotlighted the latest Transitions technology, Transitions® VI lenses. Representing the largest product launch in optical history, Transitions VI lenses provide the most advanced photochromic technology in today’s marketplace across all major lens materials and designs. At Academy, Transitions unveiled new television and print advertising that will complement the launch, generating consumer excitement about the new technology. Other highlights include:

- Transitions VI presentation by Tim Fortner, trade development manager, Transitions
- 2007 Lab of the Year recognition ceremony
